Sometimes you really want something tasty for your tea … And what could be better and more appetizing than the smell of cinnamon and freshly baked pie in the kitchen? There are many simple and original recipes, thanks to which even novice housewives can bake a delicious poppy seed roll or orange casserole.

Roll "Poppy"

You will need: 500 ml of milk, 1 serving of dry yeast, 3 eggs, 70 grams of margarine, 500 grams of sifted flour, 250 grams of cane sugar (you can use regular sugar), a bag of vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanillin. Filling: 300 grams of poppy seeds and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

Preparation

Heat 500 ml of milk in a water bath or microwave. Add yeast to milk and stir until completely dissolved. Pour 3 teaspoons of sugar into milk and put in a warm place (for example, near a radiator) for 25 minutes. Melt margarine in a water bath (or in a microwave), cool slightly. Beat the eggs, mix with the dough. Pour margarine into the egg and yeast mass. Then add the remaining sugar, flour and vanillin (or vanilla sugar) and mix thoroughly.

Place the resulting dough in a warm place for 35 minutes. Rinse the poppy seeds with warm water and cook over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Grind boiled poppy seeds to a gruel state and add sugar. Roll out the dough and grease it generously with the poppy-sugar mass. Gently roll the dough into a roll and place in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Decorate the finished roll with grated chocolate or powdered sugar.

Casserole "Orange Delight"

You will need: 500 grams of granular cottage cheese, 1 large orange, 3 eggs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of semolina, vanillin.

Preparation

Mash the cottage cheese thoroughly with sugar. Add eggs, semolina and vanillin. Stir and place in a cool place for 20 minutes. Peel the orange, pits and films. Cut into small cubes. Mix the present curd mass with an orange, put in a tall form and bake in a carefully preheated oven for 50 minutes.

Remove the casserole from the mold and garnish with grated chocolate, jam or fresh berries. To easily remove the casserole, wrap the dish in a wet towel, turn over and shake gently.
