Boiled sausages are very popular nowadays. They are prepared from salted minced meat at a temperature of 80 degrees. The shelf life of cooked sausages is no more than three days. Cooked smoked and semi-smoked sausages can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Raw smoked sausages have the longest shelf life - up to one month. Despite these terms, any sausage requires correct storage conditions.
Instructions
Step 1
If the ham is slightly dry or "windy", place it in a bowl of cold milk for 30 minutes.
Step 2
If the sausage has mold, soak it in very salty water for 2-3 minutes. Remove and wipe with a clean cloth.
Step 3
To prevent the cut end of the sausage from "winding", brush it with a little fat or egg white.
Step 4
If the sausage has become a little slippery, rinse it thoroughly in cold water and fry in vegetable oil.
Step 5
If you bought a sausage and want to consume it only after a couple of weeks, take 3 tablespoons of salt and dilute in 2 glasses of cold boiled water. Dip the sausage in this solution for a few minutes. Then take it out, let it dry, wrap it in parchment paper and place it in the refrigerator. Thanks to this method, the sausage will remain fresh and practically will not lose its taste.
