Instructions

Step 1

Open mushrooms can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 2-3 days, as they can become chapped and darkened. In a plastic bag, the shelf life of mushrooms is increased to 6-7 days. It is very dangerous to store mushrooms for longer - they can harm human health.

Step 2

To increase the shelf life of mushrooms, they can be placed in the freezer. They can stay there for a very long time without losing their useful qualities. However, they need to be defrosted in portions and it is better not to re-freeze them.

Step 3

To freeze fresh mushrooms, you need to rinse them thoroughly, dry them, trim off the excess and cut into pieces. If the mushrooms are small, then they can be left intact. Next, the mushrooms must be placed in bags, tied tightly and frozen.

Step 4

You can save the mushrooms frozen by pre-frying them in a pan with a small amount of sunflower oil. Mushrooms fried in this way must be folded into a container and frozen. The shelf life of mushrooms prepared in this way is 6 months.

Step 5

You can also save mushrooms in a boiled form. To do this, the mushrooms must be washed and boiled in slightly salted water, cooled, dried well, put in bags and frozen. The shelf life of frozen boiled mushrooms is 6 months.

Step 6

Champignons can be preserved by pickling them. To do this, prepare the marinade. In 1 liter of boiling water, add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 5 peas of black and allspice, 1 bay leaf. Add 1 kg of mushrooms and cook for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour in 50 grams of vinegar and arrange in jars. The next day, the mushrooms will be ready to eat. Store in the refrigerator.

Step 7

There is another way to preserve mushrooms - this is drying, which can be done in the oven, in the sun or in the shade. The shelf life of dried mushrooms is approximately 1 year. Before cooking, the mushrooms should be soaked in cold water for 2-3 hours.
