One of the popular summer dishes is stuffed bell peppers. It is perfect for dinner and is served as a separate dish without a side dish.
It is necessary
- - bell pepper 8 pcs.;
- - minced meat 0.5 kg;
- - rice 0.5 cups;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - carrots 1 pc.;
- - tomato paste 3 tbsp. spoons;
- - ground black pepper;
- - allspice;
- - parsley;
- - sour cream;
- - vegetable oil;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Preparing the pepper. Take a bell pepper, wash it in cold water, then carefully cut a circle with a scion. Remove the core and seeds inside with a knife, rinse thoroughly with cold water. You should now have pepper tins.
Step 2
Cooking the filling. Finely chop the onion and finely grate the carrots. Saute them in vegetable oil for 5 minutes. The onion should turn golden brown. Boil the rice until half cooked, it will take about 6 minutes. Mix the minced meat with rice, onions, carrots, chopped herbs, ground black pepper and salt. Stir the filling thoroughly.
Step 3
Fill the bell pepper with the prepared filling and place in a saucepan so that it stands firmly and upright. Pour the peppers with hot salted water and cook over low heat for 40 minutes. The water in the pan should be up to the edge of the pepper and not strictly above it! 5 minutes until cooked, pour in the tomato paste and bring to a boil.
