You can often hear women at work complain about the lack of time to prepare a full meal. But if you have minced meat in the fridge or there is a piece of beef and pork in the fridge, you can always prepare a delicious dinner in less than an hour. Cuts of beef and pork minced through a meat grinder are turned into minced meat, which means that the cooking time of meat can be significantly reduced without losing its quality and taste.

Stuffing - from the word "stuffing"

If you think that only cutlets can be quickly made from minced meat, this is not at all the case. Use it as a filling for bell peppers, tomatoes, cabbage rolls, or dolma if you have canned or fresh young grape leaves. The stuffing of minced meat is made in 20 minutes, however, the dish itself will be stewed as much, but still preparing such a dinner will not take much time. For the filling you will need:

- 500 g minced meat;

- 1 medium onion;

- ½ carrots;

- ½ cup rice;

- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;

- 2-3 cloves of garlic;

- chopped fresh or dry herbs;

- ground black pepper;

- salt.

Place a small pot of water on the stove, when it boils, toss in the rice, reduce heat, and cook until half cooked for 10 minutes. Drain the water, put the rice in the minced meat.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan, fry finely chopped onions in it until golden brown, then add carrots grated on a coarse grater and blanch, stirring occasionally, for another 2-3 minutes. Put two-thirds of the fried vegetables in the minced meat, then put the rest in a saucepan, where the peppers or cabbage rolls will be stewed.

Add greens, finely chopped garlic, pepper and salt to the minced meat, mix everything well. Your filling is ready, and now peel the peppers or scald cabbage leaves with boiling water and stuff them into a saucepan. Put the remaining fried onions and carrots on top, pour water so that it just breaks the contents of the pan, add salt, put the pan on the stove. When its contents start to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Minced meat and vegetable casserole

It does not take much time to prepare the casserole either. You will need:

- 1 egg;

- 500 g minced meat;

- any vegetables that you find in the refrigerator: onions, carrots, cabbage, bell peppers, only about 150 g;

- salt, pepper to taste.

For the casserole, you can also make the minced meat filling according to the previous recipe by adding an egg to it.

Season with salt and pepper the minced meat and, adding the egg, mix well the meat mass. Then divide it into three parts. Finely chop the vegetables or grate them on a coarse grater, mix, lightly salt, divide them into two parts.

To make the meat casserole beautiful, you can grease the minced meat on top with a beaten egg.

In a small baking dish, put one part of the minced meat in an even layer, put the chopped vegetables on top, then again a layer of minced meat, a layer of vegetables and on top again a layer of minced meat. Place the dish in the microwave for 25 minutes or in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for the same time.
