Spaghetti is a national dish in Italy. But today they are popular all over the world. It is a delicious and nutritious product that is easy and simple to prepare. And spaghetti is also an ideal base for all kinds of sauces, gravies and, of course, a wonderful side dish for meat.
It is necessary
-
- spaghetti;
- minced meat;
- vegetable oil;
- salt;
- spice.
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the meat first as it takes a little longer than cooking the spaghetti. Wash the meat thoroughly, pass it through a meat grinder (or purchase ready-made minced meat). Fry the meat in a hot skillet using fat or sunflower oil. If desired, you can add finely chopped onions, garlic, carrots, celery or tomatoes (it is important to wait until the vegetables are soft). Conventional navy-style pasta, unlike Italian recipes, does not require vegetables. Then cover the skillet with a lid and simmer the meat until tender. Salt and spices to taste. It is important to stir the minced meat periodically so it does not burn.
Step 2
While the meat is cooking, start cooking the spaghetti. For 500 grams of pasta, three liters of water are required. Dip the spaghetti in boiling salted water and cook until tender. The cooking time of spaghetti depends on their thickness, the type of wheat, so it is better to pay attention to the inscription on the package. Traditional spaghetti takes seven to fifteen minutes to cook. Throw the finished pasta in a colander, drain the water.
Step 3
Transfer boiled spaghetti to the meat. You do not need to season them with butter, because the meat itself will give fat. Stir the spaghetti and minced meat, after which the dish can be considered ready. Lovers can season it with ketchup, their favorite sauce, or sprinkle with herbs. Traditionally, a pound of spaghetti is 4-5 servings. The hostess determines the amount of meat independently. But it is desirable that there should be at least 300 grams of minced meat per pound of pasta.
