This dish is perfect for a festive table. Its aroma and taste will make a family dinner simply delicious.
It is necessary
- • 3/4 Art. dijon mustard
- • 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar for sprinkling
- • 2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme leaves
- • 5 - 6 kg of ham
- • ¾ Art. pineapple juice
- • 20 rings of canned pineapple
- • ½ tbsp. cherry berries
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Step 2
Mustard glaze: In a small bowl, combine mustard, ½ tbsp. brown sugar and thyme.
Step 3
Pour pineapple juice into the bottom of a baking sheet, place the ham with the fat side up and rub it with mustard glaze.
Step 4
Bake for 2 hours. Pour pineapple juice from a baking sheet every 20 minutes.
Step 5
Take out the ham, and leave the oven to heat up to 220 degrees.
Step 6
Decorate the ham with pineapple rings and cherries. To do this, attach a pineapple ring to the ham, put a cherry in the center of the ring and secure with a toothpick. Next, sprinkle the pineapple rings with brown sugar.
Step 7
Return the meat to the oven and bake until the pineapples are light golden brown.
Step 8
Remove the dish from the oven and rest for 15 minutes before serving.
