The stationary blender with plastic, glass or stainless steel glass is a versatile kitchen appliance for chopping, whipping and mixing a wide variety of foods. Most often, mashed potatoes from fresh or boiled vegetables and fruits are prepared in such a blender.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare vegetables and fruits: wash thoroughly, peel and pitted, cut into 1, 5-2 cm cubes. If necessary, steam them or stew them in a little water. If you want to puree frozen vegetables, you do not need to defrost it first. After cooking, be sure to cool the food for some time.
Step 2
Place the blender on a stable, level, dry and clean surface. The device should not swing or slide during operation - this is very dangerous. Fix the blender glass securely in the working position.
Step 3
Open the lid and load the sliced food into the container. If required by the recipe, add spices, butter, water, broth, or milk. Fill the blender glass no more than 2/3 full. Excessive loading can lead to overheating of the motor and damage to the device.
Step 4
Close the glass tightly with the lid to avoid spilling the contents during operation. Plug in the device. Most modern stationary blenders have two speeds and a pulse mode for short-term activation, but there are also more complex models with more modes. In any case, start working at the lowest speed and then increase it if necessary.
Step 5
Do not leave the device turned on for a long time. Typically, the blender process takes from 10 seconds for soft vegetables and fruits to 30 seconds for coarser and harder fruits.
Step 6
Turn the switch to the "O" position. Remove the glass from the base and unload the finished puree using a wooden or plastic spatula.
Step 7
If the blender is still in use, for quick cleaning, pour warm water into a glass (about 1/2 volume), close the lid and turn on at low speed for 5-10 seconds. Remove and empty the glass.
Step 8
If the blender will no longer be used, unplug it, wash the glass with warm water and soap, rinse thoroughly and dry. Place the appliance in a designated storage area.
