Chicken pockets with mushrooms

Ingredients:

- 5 fresh legs;

- 220 g of champignons;

- 4 onion heads;

- 8 tbsp. mayonnaise;

- some vegetable oil;

- a small bunch of any greenery;

- several pieces. toothpicks;

- salt, pepper according to your taste.

Rinse the legs thoroughly and set aside for a while. Take the onion, rinse, peel and cut into small cubes. Next, fry it in a pan in vegetable oil. Cook for about 2 minutes. Then wash the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces. Now add them to the onion and fry for 6 minutes.

Tackle the chicken legs. Trim their skin gently to create an air pocket. Try not to damage your skin. Next, stuff the chicken legs with the mushroom filling. To prevent it from leaking, fasten the skin of the legs with toothpicks. Sprinkle them on top with salt, spices of your choice and spread thoroughly with mayonnaise. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and place the stuffed chicken legs there. Leave the pockets to bake until cooked through. Serve the finished legs with pockets on the table.

Instead of mushrooms, you can use any other fillings: dried apricots, cheese, prunes and others.

Chicken pockets with cheese and tomatoes

Ingredients:

- 750 g chicken thighs;

- 3 ripe tomatoes;

- 120 g of fresh mayonnaise;

- 90 g of cheese;

- 3 tsp soy sauce;

-15 ml of vegetable oil;

- 1, 5 tsp mustard;

- 2 tbsp. natural honey;

- 1, 5 tsp salt;

- 1, 5 tsp ground black pepper.

Wash the chicken thighs and dab a little paper towel over them to dry. Prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, black pepper and salt. Next, grease the meat with the prepared sauce. Rinse the tomatoes and cut them into thin circles. Then cut the cheese into fairly large pieces. Gently lift the skin on the thighs, brush with sauce. Place a circle of tomato in the middle, followed by a piece of cheese. Prepare all the meat in this way. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, place it in the oven at a temperature of approximately 190 degrees. When the mold is warm a little, place the chicken thighs in it. Cover with foil and bake for about 45 minutes. Next, in a separate bowl, combine the mustard, aromatic honey and soy sauce. Pour this sauce over the meat after 45 minutes and leave everything to bake for another 35 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 160 degrees. When the dish is ready, remove and serve.
