    • fresh mirror carp;
    • onion;
    • garlic;
    • ground black pepper;
    • creamy margarine;
    • vegetable oil;
    • salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a fresh mirror carp weighing about 1.5-2 kilograms. Clean it from scales, remove the gills and gut, rinse under cold water. Mix 1 tablespoon of salt and 1/3 teaspoon of ground black pepper. Rub the resulting carp mixture inside and out.

Step 2

Peel 5-7 cloves of garlic. Make several 1-1.5 cm deep notches on the tail and back of the mirror carp and insert the garlic into them. Peel a large onion and cut into half rings. Pour 4-5 tablespoons into a skillet, turn on the heat and heat it slightly. Place the chopped onion and fry until half cooked. Fill the belly of the mirror carp with fried onions.

Step 3

Turn on the oven and preheat it to 200 degrees. Melt 1/2 pack of butter margarine on a baking sheet and place carp on top of it. Open the oven every 5-10 minutes and pour the margarine over the baked fish from the baking sheet. If you do not do this, mirror carp will turn out to be dry and not juicy. Check the readiness of the fish after 20-30 minutes by piercing it in the thickest place with a toothpick. If the released juice is transparent - the fish is ready, if not - it is necessary to bake further. Serving baked carp is best served with side dishes in the form of fresh or boiled vegetables, boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes. Cooking time 45-50 minutes.
