Garlic fried shrimp is one of the most popular beer snacks. But this dish is worth preparing, even if you are not going to spend time with a foamy drink. Seafood fried with garlic and various additives has an original, piquant taste. The recipe can be diversified by adding soy sauce, cheese, honey, tomatoes and a variety of spices to the shrimp.
Fried prawns with garlic and soy sauce
You will need:
- tiger prawns - 0.5 kg;
- garlic - 120 g;
- soy sauce to taste;
- butter - 30 g;
- lemon - 1/2 pc.;
- greens - 15 g;
- salt and black pepper to taste.
Cooking process step by step
Remove the shrimp from the freezer in advance. Let them thaw, peel them off. Remove the husks from the garlic, cut off the dry ends. Then pass each clove through the press. Add it to the shrimp, pour in the soy sauce and stir.
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon, salt, season with black pepper. If lemon juice is not available, you can use citric acid diluted with water. Mix thoroughly, preferably by hand, and let the shrimp marinate for at least 20 minutes. Put the pan on the fire and put the butter, let it melt.
Drain the marinade from the shrimp through a colander and place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Rinse the greens, chop them and sprinkle them on the cooked shrimp.

If you bought frozen shrimp, not fresh, be sure to take them out in advance so that they are ready for processing. Rinse the finished seafood in cold water, then pat dry with paper towels and peel off the shell.
Peel the cloves of garlic, cut off any dry tails. For a smooth consistency, pass the cloves through a garlic press. Chopping the garlic with a knife will make the aroma more pronounced.
Mix the resulting mass with shrimp, rub it well with your hands into the seafood meat. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and add it to the rest of the ingredients.
Add salt and black pepper there and leave to marinate for 20 minutes. Put a piece of butter in a preheated skillet and let it melt. Place the marinated shrimp in a skillet and cook for 10 minutes on each side. Serve hot.
Shrimps fried in shells with garlic in butter
You will need:
- shrimp - 1 kg;
- garlic - 4 cloves;
- butter - 100 g;
- parsley - 40 g;
- lemon - 1/2 pc.
Step-by-step cooking process
Wash the parsley and chop it finely. Rinse the fresh shrimp with running water and defrost the frozen ones first. Pat the seafood dry on paper towels. Put butter in a skillet and let it melt.
Put the shrimps in the oil and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side right in the shell. Peel the garlic, pass it through a press and add to the pan. Send the parsley there, mix. For greenery, you can use any other that you like.

You will need:
- shrimp - 20 pcs.;
- ginger root - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- vegetable oil - 15 ml;
- chili pepper - 1 pod;
- soy sauce - 50 ml;
- basil - 10 g;
- lemon - 1/2 pc.;
- cane sugar - 20 g;
- parsley - 20 g;
- cilantro - 10 g.
Cooking process in stages
Peel the ginger with a knife or peeler and cut the root vegetable into thin strips, you can grate it. Peel the garlic, cut the tails, and pass the cloves through the garlic press.
Wash the chili pepper, remove the seeds from the inside and cut off the tail. Chop the pepper finely, taking precautions, if desired, chop with rings. Defrost the shrimp, peel and rinse in advance.
Rinse cilantro, basil and parsley greens and chop finely. Pour vegetable oil into the pan, heat it. Place the ginger, chopped chili, and minced garlic in the oil and stir.

- olive oil - 10 ml;
- soy sauce to taste;

Take care of defrosting the seafood in advance, remove it from the freezer and let it thaw. Then wash them thoroughly, peel them off and pat dry with napkins. Wash the lemon and remove the zest from half with a special grater.
Squeeze out the juice and a bowl from the same half. Peel the garlic, remove dry tails, and slice each piece lengthwise. Pour oil into a skillet and heat it up. Place the shrimp, garlic and chopped lemon zest in it. Mix everything thoroughly so that the shrimps are soaked in the aromatic sauce properly, cook the dish for 2 minutes.
Then add lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, then place the shrimp and sauce on a plate. Rinse and finely chop the herbs. You will need:
- shrimp - 500 g;
- garlic - 1 head;
- honey - 30 g;
- pistachios - 30 g;
- vegetable oil - 40 ml;
- soy sauce - 30 ml;
- water - 40 ml;
- onion - 2 heads;
- Tabasco sauce - 5 ml;
- salt to taste.
Step-by-step cooking process
Peel the garlic, cut off dry ends, pass the cloves through a press. Remove the husk from the onion, rinse it with running water to remove the juice and chop it finely with a sharp knife.
Put a frying pan on fire and pour oil into it, heat it thoroughly. Put the onion and garlic in a pan and fry them, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes. Warm the water a little until warm and dilute honey in it.
