Delicate Rafaello will appeal not only to children, but also to adults. Making your favorite sweets is not difficult.

Recipe for making Raffaello from carrots with coconut flakes

You will need:

  • carrot;
  • sugar;
  • coconut flakes;
  • lemon juice;
  • almond nucleoli.

Raw carrots (600 grams) three on a fine grater. Add to it a glass (200 grams) of fine granulated sugar (you can take cane sugar) and the juice of half a lemon (or citric acid).

Put all the ingredients in a bowl or put them in a frying pan, then put them on the stove over low heat. While stirring, we wait for the liquid to evaporate.

When we see that the mixture is ready, remove it from the heat and immediately add coconut flakes (200 grams). Mix thoroughly and place in the refrigerator.

After the mixture has cooled, we begin to roll the balls, putting an almond nut inside (you can do it without a nut). Roll the ball in shavings and put the finished candies in the refrigerator again. We wait at least an hour and eat at our pleasure.

You can replace raw carrots with boiled ones.

To do this, boil the carrots, cut them and add sugar and shavings. Next, the mixture should be crushed with a blender, formed into candy balls, additionally rolled in shavings and placed in the cold.

Useful Tips

Looking for a variety of flavors? Add to the carrot mixture of your choice:

  1. chocolate;
  2. cocoa;
  3. finely chopped nuts;
  4. small pieces of apricot or prune.

If you like experimenting, add something to your liking.

Waffle chips or crushed biscuits can be used in place of the coconut flakes. It is not necessary to take white shavings if you want to get a multi-colored, festive dish.
