  • - kefir - 1 tbsp.
  • - flour - 2 tbsp.;
  • - sugar - 1 tbsp.;
  • - eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • - margarine - 250 g;
  • - salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • - soda - 0.5 tsp.

Step 1

Rinse carrots (raw), peel and grate on a coarse grater. Transfer the grated carrots to a bowl and cover with 1 glass of sugar. Stir with a spoon and leave for 1 hour so that the carrots are soaked in sugar and juice. Cut the baking margarine into pieces and melt over low heat in a small bowl. After the margarine has melted, remove the bowl from the stove and set to cool.

Beat eggs with a mixer, mix with carrots and sugar, add kefir, salt, mix and add 1 cup of sifted flour. Mix the mass thoroughly with a wooden spoon or spatula so that there are no lumps, until smooth. Then pour in the cooled melted margarine, add another glass of flour and soda. Mix everything thoroughly again.

Step 3

Let's prepare a baking dish. Cut out a circle in shape from baking paper. Pour the dough into a mold. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees and bake the carrot pie for 20 minutes.

Step 4

Now let's make sour cream for the carrot cake. Mix 400 grams of fatty sour cream with 3 tablespoons of sugar. Beat the cream using a mixer. Then we put the cream in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. After that, grease the finished carrot cake on top with sour cream and decorate with almond petals.
