Buckwheat is a product rich in valuable microelements. It contains significant amounts of copper, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, fluorine, magnesium, vitamin B9 and others. It is very important that when cultivating buckwheat, fertilizers and pesticides are practically not used, since this culture is unpretentious to soils and is not afraid of weeds. The presence of a large amount of fiber in buckwheat makes it an excellent product for those who want to lose weight. The main thing is to cook it so that buckwheat does not lose its useful properties during the cooking process.
It is necessary
-
- buckwheat 1 glass;
- water - 2, 5 glasses;
- metal saucepan with a lid or thermos.
Instructions
Step 1
Take 1 cup (approximately 300 grams) of buckwheat. Sort it carefully, removing any pebbles and debris. Rinse the buckwheat to clean water.
Step 2
Pour the prepared buckwheat into a saucepan. Fill it with 2.5-3 cups of hot water with a temperature of about 60-80 degrees. Wrap it up with a warm towel or blanket and leave for at least 4 hours, or better - 8 hours. Instead of a saucepan, you can use a thermos with a wide neck. Of course, it does not need to be wrapped in a warm towel.
Step 3
After the buckwheat is ready, eat it like regular buckwheat porridge. Do not forget to add salt or other spices before use.
