Whole grain flour products are a substitute for common bread and other foods containing white flour. Rye or whole grain bread is healthier as it helps lower cholesterol.
Rice
Rice is often considered a very healthy food. But the type of rice you eat is very important. White rice is the most useless variety, contains a large amount of starches, this has a bad effect on peristalsis and digestion in general. Therefore, nutritionists advise, you should choose exactly dark, brown or black rice. Such rice contains a high percentage of plant fibers. It also reduces the risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, reduces the chance of cancer, and reduces the frequency of asthma symptoms.
Mayonnaise
Cabbage salad, prepared with the addition of mayonnaise, is considered almost a dietary dish, and this is fundamentally wrong. Vegetable salads are very healthy in themselves, they contain a lot of fiber, vitamins and various useful elements. But often they are flavored with an irrationally abundant amount of mayonnaise, which in itself is very harmful to the body. One serving of this salad contains about 26 grams of fat, which is even more than a serving of roast.
It is recommended to use low-fat yogurt as a substitute for the usual mayonnaise. Such a salad will not lose its taste, and the fat content will decrease by more than 3 times. It is even better to use cabbage salad without sauces, and give the taste to lemon juice and vinegar in small quantities.
