    • Yeast dough pie:
    • 0.5 liters of milk;
    • 4 cups flour;
    • 100 g butter;
    • 12 g dry yeast;
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    • For filling:
    • 4 large apples;
    • 1 cup lingonberries;
    • 0.5 cups of sugar;
    • 1 tablespoon of starch
    • Quick Apple Lingonberry Pie:
    • 300 g flour;
    • 200 g butter;
    • 3 yolks;
    • 100 g sugar;
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    • For filling:
    • 250 g lingonberries;
    • 250 g apples;
    • 3/4 cup sugar.

Step 1

Yeast dough pie

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk, stir the mixture and put it in a warm place. After an hour, put flour, salt, melted butter in a container with yeast and knead the dough well. When it starts to lag well behind the walls of the dishes, collect the dough in a lump, cover with a towel and leave warm for an hour and a half to two hours. The dough should double in volume.

Step 2

Sweet and sour lingonberries. Roll out the dough into an even layer 0.5 centimeters thick and place it on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle the layer with starch (for this it is better to use a strainer). Spread the apple and lingonberry filling on top and sprinkle with sugar. The cake can be covered with a wire rack of thin strips of dough. Bake it in a preheated oven until golden brown. Remove the finished cake from the baking sheet, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Quick Apple Lingonberry Pie

Prepare the filling first. Peel the apples, cut them into wedges, removing the core. Wash and dry the lingonberries. Place apples and berries in a saucepan, add sugar and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes. The apples should be soft. Remove the jam from the stove and let it cool.

Step 4

Mash the butter with sugar and salt, separate the yolks from the whites and add them to the butter mixture. Stir well, add flour in portions and knead the dough. Collect it in a lump and place in the cold for 15 minutes. Remove the dough, roll it into a thin layer and place on a greased baking sheet. Spread the apple and lingonberry jam evenly over the dough. Place the cake in a preheated oven and bake until tender. Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle with sugar. Serve warm.
