A salmon dish can be the main decoration of the festive table. But you need to be able to cook it deliciously and serve it correctly. Thanks to this recipe, the fish retains all its flavor, and the sauce adds piquancy. It goes well with rice as a side dish.

It is necessary

  • - 500 g salmon;
  • - 50 g lemon juice;
  • - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
  • - 1 PC. red onions;
  • - 4 things. tomato;
  • - 2 pcs. cloves of garlic;
  • - 20 g of green basil;
  • - 4 tbsp. tablespoons of butter;
  • - 1 PC. bay leaf;
  • - salt, black pepper;
  • - 40 g of rice.

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the salmon fillets and, if there are small bones, remove them with tweezers, dry with a paper towel, cut into portions, salt, pepper, pour with lemon juice and leave to marinate for 15 minutes. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, fry the salmon fillets on each side until golden brown.

Step 2

Place the fish on a preheated dish. For the sauce, peel the onion and cut into half rings. Wash the tomatoes, make cuts on top, immerse them in boiling water for 30 seconds, discard them in a colander, peel them and cut them into small pieces. Pass the peeled garlic through a press. Rinse and dry the basil leaves and chop finely.

Step 3

In the pan where the fish was cooked, put the onion and fry for three minutes, then add the tomatoes, garlic, butter, salt, pepper and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat under the lid. Then add the basil and bay leaves and leave for a few more minutes over the fire. Pour the sauce over the fish and garnish with basil leaves.

Step 4

For a side dish, cook rice in a double boiler. Rinse it in cold water, place it in a bowl for making porridge. Pour melted butter over the cooked rice.
