Bread charlotte with apricots and apples

This recipe is suitable for those who do not want to mess with the dough. Instead of the usual dough, ordinary white bread is used here.

You will need:

- 150 grams of dried apricots;

- 150 ml of water;

- 150 grams of sugar;

- 1, 2 kg of apples;

- a teaspoon of ground cinnamon;

- 16 slices of bread;

- 100 grams of butter;

- 100 grams of apricot jam or jam.

Put the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease a baking sheet about 20 cm in diameter with oil.

Rinse dried apricots in hot water, place them in a saucepan, add about 70 grams of sugar, fill everything with water and put on fire. Once the sugar grains are dissolved, add the slices of pre-peeled apples to the syrup and continue to cook until the apples are tender.

Mix the cinnamon with the remaining sugar. Cut the crust off the toast bread, brush the crumb with butter, sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Line the bottom of the mold with bread (each slice should overlap), as well as the sides. Fill the resulting "bread bowl" with the apricot-apple mass and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, remove the cake from the oven, brush its top with apricot jam and place in the oven for another five minutes.

Charlotte with apricots, plums and apples

You will need:

- four apricots;

- four plums;

- one large sour apple;

- 200 grams of butter;

- 300 grams of sugar;

- a tablespoon of honey;

- two eggs;

- 100 grams of flour;

- 1, 5 teaspoon baking powder;

- 100 grams of ground almonds;

- a teaspoon of vanilla extract;

- 150 ml of milk.

Grease a baking dish with oil. Rinse apricots and plums, remove pits. Rinse the apple, remove the seeds, cut the fruit itself into small slices. Mix 150 grams of sugar with 75 ml of water and cook golden caramel from the mixture (keep the sugar syrup on low heat for at least 15 minutes).

Pour the caramel syrup on the bottom of the mold, and place the apple, plum and apricot wedges on it.

Beat the softened butter with the remaining sugar until white and, without stopping whisking, add the eggs to the butter mass. Sift the flour, add ground almonds and baking powder to it, then mix it with the oil mixture. Add milk and vanilla to the finished dough, mix and pour the resulting mixture into the fruit in the form.

Bake the charlotte for about 50 minutes at 180 degrees. Pour honey over the finished cake.
