- 1 kg pumpkin;
- 500 g sugar;
- 300 g dried apricots.

Step 1
To make pumpkin jam, use a fruit that is not too hard. Wash the vegetable, remove the peel, scrub the seeds.

Grate the prepared pumpkin on a coarse grater.

Rinse dried apricots thoroughly, soak in boiling water for 5-7 minutes, remove from water and cut into 4 pieces. Do not grind, the dried fruit should feel good in the pumpkin jam.
Step 4
Place dried apricots and pumpkin in the saucepan you plan to use to make the jam. Sprinkle sugar on the food and leave the treat to infuse for a quarter of an hour. During this time, dried apricots and pumpkin will give juice.
Step 5
When the time is up, place the pot on gas and bring the jam to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove dessert from heat.
Step 6
Repeat the above manipulations 3-4 times with an interval of 5 hours. After such boiling, the pumpkin should become soft.
Step 7
Put the finished pumpkin jam in sterilized jars and roll up the lid.

If you do not plan to store the dessert in winter, you can simply put the jam in clean jars, close the lid tightly and keep in the refrigerator.
