It is necessary

  • - 400 g pumpkin;
  • - 200 g of dried apricots;
  • - 1, 6 liters of water;
  • - 1/2 cup sugar;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch;
  • - vanillin.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the pumpkin from seeds and rind, cut into large pieces. Rinse dried apricots, cut into small pieces.

Step 2

Boil 1.5 liters of water in a saucepan, put chopped dried apricots with pumpkin there, cook until both components are soft. Then grind the contents of the pot with a blender. The consistency of the mass should resemble mashed potatoes.

Step 3

Dissolve the starch in 100 ml of cold water.

Step 4

Add sugar and vanillin to the puree to taste, put on fire, bring to a boil. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then remove from the stove. Pour in the starch in a thin stream, stirring continuously the bright puree. Return to the stove again, cook the jelly for 5-7 minutes.

Step 5

Kissel turns out to be of medium density, if you wish, you can adjust the density with the amount of water at your discretion. You can serve ready-made homemade pumpkin jelly with dried apricots both warm and cold.
