It is necessary

  • - pumpkin - 400 g;
  • - dried apricots - 200 g;
  • - water - 1, 6 l;
  • - sugar - 100 g;
  • - starch - 1 tablespoon.

Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to rinse the pumpkin. Then remove the crusts from the surface of this vegetable, and from the inside - the seeds. Cut the remaining pulp with a knife into fairly large pieces.

Step 2

Rinse dried apricots also thoroughly, then soak in hot water for a while, then chop with a knife, cut into large pieces.

Step 3

Pour one and a half liters of clean water into a suitable saucepan and bring it to a boil on the stove. After boiling, add chopped pumpkin and dried apricots there. Cook the resulting mixture until the added ingredients soften.

Step 4

Then place the softened dried apricots and pumpkin in a blender bowl and turn into a smooth puree. Add granulated sugar to the resulting mass. Stir everything until the sugar is completely dissolved, then put it on the stove and cook for 5-7 minutes. By the way, if you add a small amount of vanillin to this jelly, then it will give the drink an additional taste.

Step 5

After diluting starch in 100 milliliters of water, inject it in a rather thin stream into the boiling mass, while stirring it continuously.

Step 6

Put the resulting mixture on fire and wait for it to boil. As soon as this happens, cook the drink for another 5-7 minutes, then set it aside to cool. It should have a fairly thick consistency. Pumpkin jelly with dried apricots is ready!
