Recently, tepmura rolls (fried rolls) have been very popular in Japanese restaurants. Thanks to a special roasting technology, a new exquisite note is added to the original taste of the dish.
It is necessary
- - 150 g of sushi rice;
- - 3 sheets of nori seaweed;
- - 80 g of crab sticks;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of tobiko or masago caviar;
- - 50 g smoked eel fillet;
- - 50 g cream cheese ("Philadelphia" or "Buko");
- - 1 fresh cucumber;
- - spicy sauce to taste;
Instructions
Step 1
We begin to prepare the rolls as usual. First you need to boil the sushi rice using the instructions on the package. Season the finished rice with soy sauce and rice vinegar.
Step 2
Next, we start preparing the filling for the roll. We defrost crab sticks and make a batter for them from eggs, flour and cold water. We carefully alter all ingredients until smooth. Preheat the pan by adding vegetable oil to it. Roll each crab stick in batter and fry until golden brown.
Step 3
Place a sheet of nori seaweed on the bamboo mat. We distribute rice for sushi over the entire surface of the sheet and compact it with our hands. Put the filling for the roll in the center: sliced cucumber and smoked eel fillets, cream cheese, crab sticks fried in batter and tobiko or masago caviar.
Step 4
We twist the roll, cut it into 6 equal parts and serve hot to the table with spicy sauce.
