Chamomile is a flower that seems quite simple at first glance. However, if you look closely at it, it becomes clear that the plant has incredible beauty. Making a chamomile from mastic is not an easy task, but if you spend at least half an hour of free time on creating this flower, then the product will be difficult to distinguish from a real flower.
It is necessary
- - mastic;
- - rolling pin for mastic;
- - yellow granulated sugar;
- - a special mold in the form of a chamomile;
- - water;
- - a small spoon (or a special device for smoothing the mastic).
Instructions
Step 1
The first step is to roll out the mastic to a thickness of two or three millimeters (if rolled out thinner, then the mastic will tear and the flowers will simply not work).
Step 2
Next, you need to take a special form in the form of a chamomile, place it under the mastic and gently roll it with a rolling pin a couple of times on top of the mold.
Step 3
Separate the resulting shape from the shape. In the same way, make two more of the same figures.
Step 4
Put the three resulting blanks in front of you, pick up a spoon (or a special device for smoothing the mastic) and gently draw from the base to the tip of each petal, pressing lightly. As a result, the petals should bend slightly on all sides.
Step 5
Next, you need to glue the resulting three figures in the form of daisies together. To do this, you need to take a small piece of mastic, put it in a container and add a little hot water (you get glue for mastic). Lubricate the center of one flower with the resulting liquid, put another flower on it, then a third.
Step 6
Take a piece of yellow mastic, roll a ball out of it, dip it in water, then in granulated sugar, previously colored yellow (you can use both food coloring and ordinary orange juice to color the sand).
Step 7
The final step is to place the yellow core on the chamomile. The flower is ready, now you need to let it dry completely, then decorate the confection.
