Sweet donuts are a great treat for children, although not every adult will give them up. You can make a treat at home.
Donuts in chocolate glaze look very appetizing and have an unmatched taste. The dough for them is made from the following components:
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 40 g of sugar;
- 5 g of salt;
- 7 g dry yeast;
- 0, 5 tbsp. milk;
- 1 egg;
- 20 g butter;
- orange peel.
First, combine sugar, yeast, flour, salt and grated orange zest in a deep bowl. Pour warm milk into this mixture and add the egg beaten into the foam, then mix the ingredients thoroughly. Next, add soft butter to the dough and knead it for 5-7 minutes. After that, let it stand for 20 minutes, then knead again and leave for another 10 minutes.
Now you can start forming donuts, for this you need to pinch off a little from the finished dough, roll it into a sausage and make a bagel out of it. This is exactly how you need to make donuts from the whole dough.
You need to fry the products in a deep frying pan in well-heated vegetable oil, they will be ready when they become golden. Place the hot donuts on a paper towel to cool.
While the sweet rings are cooling, you need to prepare the chocolate icing. This will require:
- 2, 5 tbsp. l. milk;
- 50 g of dark chocolate.
Combine milk and chocolate in a small container, put it in a water bath, stirring constantly, bring the mass to a homogeneous state. Grease the donuts with icing and refrigerate for 20 minutes, then serve with tea or coffee.
