Blackberry sauce with unripe grapes is very popular in Georgia. This amazing combination of sweet blackberries and unripe sour grapes goes well with tobacco chicken or any other meat dish. Unripe grapes can be replaced with grape juice with the addition of lemon juice.
It is necessary
- For six servings:
- - 800 g blackberries;
- - 3 glasses of grapes;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 green pepper;
- - sea salt, cilantro.
Instructions
Step 1
First, peel the stalks of the blackberries, put them on cheesecloth, squeeze out the juice. This is necessary so that small bones remain on the fabric. Although you can knead the berries with a wooden spatula along with the seeds, it will turn out equally tasty.
Step 2
Squeeze the grapes exactly through cheesecloth so that the grape skins and grains do not get into the sauce.
Step 3
Mix grape juice with blackberry juice.
Step 4
Grind the garlic, cilantro, salt and green peppers in a mortar.
Step 5
Mix the juice with herbs and spices. Pour the sauce into a convenient jar. Chill the sauce in the refrigerator before serving.
