A buffet table is a very convenient variation for celebrating a particular event. In addition, this is also another reason to demonstrate your culinary skills.
Fruit salad
Salads for a buffet table can be served in a very original way, using ordinary glasses, glasses or wine glasses. In such a design, a fruit salad, which is rich in vitamins and has a bright attractive appearance, will look great.
You will need: bananas - 5-6 pieces, oranges - 2 pieces, lemon - 1 piece, kiwi - 3-4 pieces, grapefruit - 1-2 pieces, canned pineapples in syrup - 1 can.
Start with bananas. Peel them, cut into rings, transfer to a bowl and immediately squeeze the lemon juice onto them, this will protect the bananas from browning. Stir well.
Peel the kiwi and cut into small cubes.
Peel the oranges too, divide them into wedges and only then cut them into even smaller pieces.
Peel the grapefruit and cut it into small pieces.
Open the pineapple jar and pour the sugar syrup there into the salad bowl. If the pineapples are in whole rings in the jar, then cut them into pieces suitable for the salad.
You just have to mix all the ingredients of the fruit salad and refrigerate for 30 minutes so that the fruits are saturated with each other's juices. After half an hour, you can serve the "fruit rainbow" in tall glasses or wine glasses - it will be very festive.
Corn Chips Salad
This version of a salad for a buffet table is good because it is very quick and easy to prepare, but at the same time it has an original festive look.
To prepare one serving, you will need: 200 grams of canned corn, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 100 grams of potato chips, 100-150 grams of crab sticks.
Chop the crab sticks not too coarsely, then open a jar of corn and pour out the water. Mix the remaining contents of the jar with the crab sticks. Add the chips to the mixture. You can pre-crumble them directly in the pack, or you can put them whole - the chips will break when stirring. Season the salad with mayonnaise. Place a "carpet" of chips on top of the salad before serving.
