- - 200 milliliters of dry red wine;
- - 2 teaspoons of brown sugar;
- - 2 teaspoons of lemon juice;

Step 1
First of all, black currant berries are prepared for the sauce. They are thoroughly washed, cleaned of leaves and any debris, and also turned into a homogeneous puree in any convenient way - using a blender, mixer or ordinary mortar.

The most convenient way to prepare the discussed sauce is in a saucepan or ladle. It is necessary to put berries in it, then pour in red wine and bring to a boil. After that, it should remain on the fire for about 5 minutes.

If desired, the resulting mass can be passed through the finest sieve to get rid of small bones and skins. If you want a thicker sauce, then you don't have to.

Next, you need to boil the mixture again over medium heat, and then add all the specified spices, sugar, salt and lemon juice to it. The sauce will cook until tender for about 20 minutes. At the moment when it thickens, the dish must be thoroughly mixed again and turned off.
