Vinaigrette is a cold vegetable dish of Russian cuisine served as an appetizer. The main ingredients of the classic recipe are beets, carrots and potatoes. Try making an original banana vinaigrette by adding fruit and fresh cucumber to these ingredients.

- 2 bananas;
- 2 sweet apples;
- 1 fresh cucumber;
- 3 carrots;
- 2 beets;
- 2 potatoes;
- 1 can of green peas;
- 300 g sauerkraut;
- 2 tbsp water;
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil;
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar;
- greens
- salt and sugar to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the vegetables, put them in a saucepan, cover them with cold water, put them on fire and boil until tender. Refrigerate and then peel.
Step 2
Cut the boiled vegetables into cubes. Place green peas and rinsed sauerkraut in a bowl with chopped vegetables.
Step 3
Dice fresh cucumber, apples and bananas. Add them to chopped vegetables.
Step 4
Dress up the banana vinaigrette. To do this, mix apple cider vinegar with water and vegetable oil, add sugar and salt to taste. Chop parsley and dill finely, add to the dressing, and stir again.
Step 5
Drizzle the dressing over the sliced fruits and vegetables and stir gently. Place the vinaigrette in a salad bowl before serving and garnish with banana slices.
Step 6
Decorate the vinaigrette before serving and in this way: put the glass on a large flat dish, carefully lay the vinaigrette in a ring around the glass. Remove the glass and garnish the vinaigrette with bananas.
