Squash tastes very similar to zucchini, but more aromatic and soft. Very often, young squash is added to pickles. In a jar of mixed vegetables, they not only look very beautiful, but also very tasty.
In addition, squash can be prepared as a hot second course.
It is necessary
- - squash pulp - 300 g;
- - 1 egg;
- - flour - 3 tablespoons with a slide;
- - salt - 1 tsp;
- - turmeric - 1/4 tsp or other spices to taste;
- - vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the squash from seeds and skin. Mature squash is more difficult to peel from a hard crust. The easiest way to do this is by cutting it into 8 pieces. Use a sturdy, sharp knife to cut the squash. The peel can be removed with any convenient sharp knife. Place the squash wedge on a cutting board and cut the hard crust from top to bottom.
Step 2
Grate the pulp on a large shredder. Add egg, salt, spices, flour. Mix - the dough is ready.
Step 3
Heat the oil for frying in a frying pan and spread the resulting mass in small portions with a tablespoon. Press down a little on top to make thin pancakes, about 1.5 cm.
Step 4
Fry them on each side for 3 minutes, until a golden brown crust forms.
Step 5
Remove the pancakes from the pan and serve with any side dish.
