Cabbage and raisins are an interesting combination for a light salad. Despite the fact that it is seasoned with mayonnaise, its taste is very fresh, pleasant, the salad turns out to be quite light. In addition to raisins, apples and fresh cucumbers are added to the salad.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of white cabbage;
- - 200 g of apples;
- - 150 g seedless raisins;
- - 100 g of bacon;
- - 1 cucumber;
- - mayonnaise.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pitted raisins, cover with warm water, leave to soak for 20 minutes. After that, remove the raisins from the water, put them on a paper towel, and leave to dry. Thanks to this simple procedure, the raisins will become softer.
Step 2
Chop the white cabbage into thin strips. Rinse fresh cucumber, cut into slices. Rinse the apple, peel, core, cut into strips. You can take any apple, but green apples are more often used for salads.
Step 3
Take a piece of meat with lard (you can take a thin cut of bacon), cut into thin strips, fry in vegetable oil, put on a paper towel so that all the excess fat can be stacked - we need bacon to decorate the finished salad.
Step 4
Mix cabbage, cucumber, apples in a deep salad bowl, add soaked raisins. Season with mayonnaise, mix well all the components of the salad.
Step 5
Put the finished cabbage salad with raisins on a plate, decorate with strips of bacon, you can use any fresh herbs for decoration if you wish. The salad is ready for serving.
