Many have seen bright jars with ready-made pate on sale. This product is perfect for a quick bite. But, unfortunately, buying ready-made pates, you can get something quite different from what you expect.
Chicken liver pate
You will need:
- chicken liver - 0.5 kg;
- onion - 1 pc;
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- salt 1/2 tsp;
- sour cream (mayonnaise) - 3 tablespoons;
- black pepper at will;
- sunflower oil.
We wash the liver, clean the onion and grind it in a blender (you can scroll it in a meat grinder). Add salt, seasonings, eggs, mayonnaise (sour cream), mix thoroughly. Pour the liver mixture into a non-stick or silicone mold and send it to the preheated oven. We bake the pate for 1 hour at a temperature of 180 degrees. Cut the finished dish into slices and serve.
Quick egg pate
You will need:
- boiled egg - 4 pcs;
- onion - 2-3 pcs;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- butter - 50 g;
- sunflower oil;
- salt 1/2 - 1 tsp;
- walnuts - 50 g.
Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes and fry in sunflower oil. We peel the eggs, nuts and garlic and put everything in a blender bowl, add fried onions and butter there. Grind until smooth. Put the finished pate in a bowl and put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Salted herring pate
You will need:
- salted herring 1 pc;
- processed cheese - 1 piece;
- boiled carrots - 1 pc;
- butter - 50 g.
Peel the carrots. Wash herring, peel and remove the bones to make a fillet. Scroll everything except butter in a meat grinder, add slightly melted butter and mix until smooth. Put the finished pate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Garnish herring pate with green onions before serving.
