Celery root is popular for its dietary properties. Using it, it is impossible to get better by gaining extra pounds, because 100 g of the product has only 18 calories. Nutritionists especially recommend making simple, light salads with this ingredient more often.
Celery root salad with olives
Ingredients:
- 250 g olives;
- 200 g of celery root;
- 50 ml of vegetable oil;
- lemon juice from 1 fruit;
- salt.
Peel the celery, rinse, cut into cubes, boil in salted water. Then drain the water, mix celery with olives, salt to taste.
Pour the salad with vegetable oil, sprinkle with lemon juice, stir, let it brew a little.
Celery root salad with honey mayonnaise
Ingredients:
- 400 g of celery root;
- ½ cup vegetable oil;
- 50 ml of liquid honey;
- 15 ml of lemon juice;
- 15 g of mustard;
- 1 egg yolk.
Boil the celery whole in salted water, peel it, rub it on a large grater.
Make honey mayonnaise. Combine honey and beaten egg yolk. Add oil to the mayonnaise, stirring occasionally. The mixture should thicken. Add lemon juice, mustard, stir.
Pour the prepared honey mayonnaise on the grated celery. Serve this salad with various meat dishes.
