Juicy chicken rolls stuffed with cheese and garlic are an excellent dish for a family dinner that will allow all family members to gather at the same table and have a delicious meal.
Ingredients for the filling:
- 100 g of hard cheese;
- 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
- 1 clove of garlic.
Ingredients for flour batter:
- 1 egg;
- 1 tbsp. l. water;
- 3 tbsp. l. flour;
- 1 pinch of salt.
Ingredients for rolls:
- 2 chicken fillets;
- 4 tbsp. l. sunflower oil;
- salt.
Preparation:
- Defrost each piece of chicken fillet, wash and cut horizontally into 3 slices.
- Beat off each meat plate and add salt on both sides. Pass the garlic through the garlic.
- Grate hard cheese on a fine grater, combine in a bowl with garlic and mayonnaise, mix thoroughly.
- Pieces of broken meat will have one wide edge. Therefore, it is on the wide edge of each chop that you need to lay out 1-1.5 tsp. cheese filling.
- Roll all the stuffed chops into rolls. You should get 6 long rolls.
- Since long rolls are inconvenient to fry, each roll must be cut in half to make 12 small rolls.
- Combine raw egg, water, salt and sifted flour in a deep bowl. Mix this mass until smooth, breaking the flour lumps. You should get a dough of medium thickness, like a pancake, which will serve as a batter.
- Pour cooking oil into a skillet and heat it up. Dip all the rolls one by one well into the batter, then put in hot oil and fry until golden brown from all possible sides. During this time, the meat will cook, but remain juicy, and the cheese will melt and be saturated with the aroma of garlic.
- Take out the finished chicken rolls on a plate, garnish with sprigs of your favorite greens and serve with mashed potatoes or pasta.
Mashed potatoes and a salad of fresh tomatoes with cucumbers are suitable for such rolls as a side dish.
