When you want to please your family and friends with something special, you can cook chicken rolls with mushrooms and cheese in sour cream sauce, although this dish is perfect for a festive table. Cooking rolls does not require special skills, although it will take enough time. But you should not be upset, since the meat in the rolls turns out to be tender, and the garlic sauce adds sophistication and unique taste to the dish.

It is necessary

  • - chicken breast - 2 pcs;
  • - champignons - 200 g;
  • - hard cheese - 100 g;
  • - sour cream - 200 g;
  • - garlic - 4 - 5 cloves;
  • - dill greens;
  • - salt and pepper to taste;
  • - sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

We start preparing the dish by processing mushrooms and, by the way, mushrooms can be replaced with wild mushrooms or oyster mushrooms, fresh and frozen.

We wash the mushrooms, clean if necessary and cut into small pieces. Peel the onion and cut it into small pieces. Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, first fry the onion until soft, then add the mushrooms. At the end of frying, sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir. Transfer the finished mushrooms to a plate and let them cool slightly.

Step 2

Remove the skin and bones from the chicken breast, cut the resulting fillet into palm-sized layers, about 2 cm thick. Cover them with cling film and beat them with a hammer. On the resulting chop, put the mushrooms fried with onions. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater and sprinkle over the mushrooms.

Step 3

In a clean frying pan, heat the sunflower oil while it is heating up, twist the chops into tight rolls and fix with threads or toothpicks. Put chicken rolls with mushrooms and cheese in a frying pan and fry until a beautiful golden color appears. If desired, the rolls can be breaded in breadcrumbs.

Step 4

While the rolls are fried, prepare the sauce, for this we put the sour cream in a bowl, add chopped garlic and finely chopped dill to it, mix until smooth.

Transfer the fried rolls to a saucepan or saucepan, fill with sauce and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Remove the threads and toothpicks before serving.

Chicken rolls with mushrooms and cheese go well with fresh vegetable salad and potato dishes.
