Spaghetti is a long and thin pasta that was invented in Naples over 500 years ago. Since then, this product has become incredibly popular not only in Italy, but also in other parts of the world. They can be prepared with a wide variety of sauces and ingredients. They go well with foods such as chicken, mushrooms, cheese and sour cream.
Pasta with chicken fillet and mushrooms in sour cream sauce
Such a dish has a rather high calorie content, but at the same time it turns out to be satisfying, tender and very tasty. To prepare it you will need:
- 250 g of spaghetti;
- 300 g chicken fillet;
- 200 g of champignons;
- 50 g of cheese;
- 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream;
- 1 tsp flour;
- olive oil for frying;
- salt and black pepper;
- basil for decoration.
Wash the chicken fillet, dry and cut into small pieces. Fry in olive oil until tender. Cut the champignons lengthwise into thin strips, then put them in another pan in one row - then they will taste better. Fry all the mushrooms one by one until tender. Meanwhile, salt the meat that is cooking in parallel, sprinkle with flour and mix well. Add sour cream and some water. Stir again thoroughly and simmer over low heat, covered, until thickened.
Pepper a few minutes before the end, add fried mushrooms and spaghetti pre-boiled in salted water. Mix everything gently, remove from heat and place on plates. Sprinkle with finely grated cheese and garnish with chopped fresh basil leaves. Serve with dry white wine.
Chicken baked with mushrooms in a creamy sauce
Spaghetti can also be used as a hearty side dish with baked chicken. To prepare such a dish, you must:
- 1 chicken;
- 300 g of fresh mushrooms;
- 200 g sour cream;
- 150 g of cheese;
- 100 ml of cream;
- 20 g butter;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- salt and thyme to taste.
Wash the chicken well, pat dry with a paper towel and cut into 4 pieces. Salt each one well and place in a fireproof dish, previously greased with butter. It is advisable that the baking dish has sides and is not too large, since the meat will be baked in a creamy sauce.
Wash the mushrooms and cut into large slices, if necessary. Fry in a pan with heated vegetable oil until half cooked. Then add sour cream and cream to them. Season with salt, stir and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Pour the cooked sauce over the chicken, sprinkle with dried thyme and place the dish in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 30 minutes. After the allotted time, remove and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for about 10 more minutes until golden brown. Serve the cooked chicken with mushrooms to the table along with boiled spaghetti.
