Potato gratin, aka potato gratin, aka dauphinua potatoes. A fun way to cook potatoes as a side dish and as an independent dish.

Step 1
Wash and clean the potatoes. It is advisable to choose small potatoes of the same size.
Step 2
We cut the potatoes into thin slices or three on a special grater, rinse and dry. In a deep bowl, season the potatoes with salt, pepper, nutmeg or a seasoning mixture for vegetable dishes. Next, add the cream and mix again.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with butter and begin to carefully and tightly lay out the potatoes in layers. Pour the cream and spices remaining in the bowl over the potatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese and send to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Cool the finished gratin a little and cut into portions. It is served as a side dish for meat or poultry, or as an independent dish.
