In working on ourselves, we often face the fact that it is not so difficult to achieve a result as to maintain it. And the problem lies in this situation in psychology rather than physiology. We will try to understand the essence of the problem and avoid mistakes in our endeavors.
1. Understand the essence of the problem. Have you already had cases where the weight came back after a diet? Why did this happen? Most likely, the answer is uniform - you returned to your usual diet, completely disagreeing with your body, which, by the way, has already fully tuned in to the consumption of only boiled meat with vegetables. And so, you again "enrich" it with unhealthy fats and simple carbohydrates. It is quite natural that the body will quickly turn this "unheard of generosity" into a "spare tire" on your sides. There was no other option and will not be, with the exception of cases related to diseases.
2. Place frames. Evaluate sensibly in what limits of food restrictions you can constantly exist. The word "constantly" is key here. The more results you want to achieve, the tighter this framework will be. This should be understood very clearly. A diet is a sharp and significant limitation of the body, in which it begins to use "stored reserves", ie. adipose tissue. At the end of the diet, it will return, but how much depends on your diet and activity.
3. Convenient format. As you shape your post-diet diet, consider your condition during the diet. What did you want the most? What do you think were the strongest habits that you were able to give up during your diet the easiest way? If you realize that, for example, carbonated drinks and sugary juices are not the most important thing in your life, and you can do without them, you should not return to them at all after a diet. Such restrictions should be introduced on an ongoing basis, this will be one of your main stepping stones on the path to success.
4. Analogs and substitutes. Of course, you will still go back to your favorite foods. However, you should try to return to them in limited quantities. Try to make the return to your favorite foods as rewarding as possible. For example, try dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate, sweeteners and honey instead of sugar, add more fiber than flour to baked goods and slightly less sugar than usual.
5. What has come is gone. If you still ate pastries on the first day after the diet, do not get upset right away. In this case, the most important thing is not to sit down to watch the series, but to engage in physical activity. Let the body use up the received calories. In fact, the whole secret is to spend as much as you consume. Knowing this rule, it is necessary to combine meals with physical activity. So, for example, if you have an active day with physical activity, morning or afternoon cakes will not seriously harm your figure.
