It is necessary
- For the test:
- - Creamy margarine - 200 g;
- - Milk - 200 ml;
- - Dry yeast - 3 tsp;
- - Sugar - 1 tsp;
- - Flour - 500 g.
- For filling:
- - Medium-sized lemons - 2 pcs.;
- - Sugar - 180 g;
- - Vanillin - 5 g.
- For cake decoration;
- - Egg yolk - 1 pc.;
- - Powdered sugar - 100 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the creamy margarine from the refrigerator and set aside on the table until tender. Heat the milk until warm. Add dry yeast and a teaspoon of sugar to it. Stir the mixture and remove to a warm place for 15 minutes. You can leave it on the table under the lid if there is no draft.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine softened margarine with flour until crumbled. Add flour in portions. The amount of flour must be regulated. The main thing is that in the end the crumb turns out to be dry and not oily.
Step 3
Pour the matched dough into a bowl with flour crumbs and knead the dough. The dough is best mixed by hand. At first, it will stick to your hands. If you initially put in a sufficient amount of flour, after a few minutes, the dough will begin to move away from your hands. If it doesn't, add some more flour. Remove the finished dough in a warm place.
Step 4
While the dough is coming up, we will make the filling. Cut two lemons into several pieces and peel them. Twist them through a meat grinder along with the peel. Alternatively, remove the zest from the lemons with a grater and grind the pulp with a blender. Sprinkle sugar and vanillin on top of the lemon puree without stirring. Set the filling aside for a few minutes.
Step 5
Prepare a cutting surface on the table. Divide the matched dough into two parts. Roll one piece to the size of your baking sheet or baking bowl. To make it convenient to transfer the dough to a baking sheet, wind it on a rolling pin and transfer. But be careful, this dough is very tender and buttery, it can break.
Step 6
Roll out the second half of the dough. Mix the filling well and place evenly on the first rolled part. Cover with the second rolled piece and pinch the edges. Make three holes in a row from above so that steam will escape through them later.
Step 7
Take an egg yolk and brush it over a pie. Turn the oven to 160 degrees. While the oven is preheating, let the cake sit on the table for 20 minutes.
Step 8
After the time has elapsed, place the baking sheet with the pie in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a match. Pierce the cake with it. If it is completely dry, it means that it is time to take the cake out of the oven. Surely, by this time, the aroma of baking will be felt throughout the house.
Step 9
Once the lemongrass has cooled, sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. Cut the pie into portioned diamonds, place them on a large plate and invite everyone to tea!
