Gnocchi are Italian dumplings. They are made from flour, potatoes, semolina, spinach, cheese, or stale bread. You can serve gnocchi with different sauces, butter or cheese.
It is necessary
- Ingredients for 2-3 persons:
- - 200 gr. potatoes;
- - 50 gr. flour;
- - yolk;
- - pepper and salt;
- - ground nutmeg.
Instructions
Step 1
The potatoes must be well washed and boiled in their uniforms.
Step 2
Peel the cooled potatoes, cut them into pieces for convenience and turn them into mashed potatoes.
Step 3
Add flour and yolk to it.
Step 4
Salt, pepper and season with nutmeg.
Step 5
Knead the dough and shape it into finger-thick sausages.
Step 6
Cut the dough into 2 cm pieces.
Step 7
Use a fork to give the Italian dumplings a beautiful shape.
Step 8
Throw the gnocchi into boiling water. As soon as they float to the surface, take out with a slotted spoon.
Step 9
Serve with your favorite sauce and decorate with cheese and herbs if desired.
