Chocolate and mint are a very good combination. This recipe uses 20% fat cream, so the ice cream is not very high in calories.
It is necessary
- - 4 egg yolks
- - 100 g sugar
- - 250 ml of milk
- - 250 ml cream with 20% fat
- - a pinch of vanillin
- - a couple of fresh mint leaves
- - 30 g dark chocolate
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the whites from the yolks.
Step 2
Stir the yolks and sugar in a deep bowl.
Step 3
Mix milk with cream, add a pinch of vanilla.
Step 4
Heat the milk for about 2 minutes. Pour it into the egg and sugar mixture in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Then heat until the first bubbles appear, but do not overexpose so that it does not curl.
Step 5
Cool the resulting mass.
Step 6
At this time, cut the mint into small pieces.
Step 7
Break the chocolate and melt it in a water bath.
Step 8
Divide the mass into two parts. Add mint to one, melted chocolate to the other. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 9
Put both types of ice cream in the freezer, take out an hour later and beat with a mixer, then put back in the freezer.
Step 10
Repeat the procedure after 30-45 minutes.
Step 11
Then take out the ice cream and serve in pretty tins, garnish with a sprig of mint or sprinkle with grated chocolate as desired.
