Summer is the best time to prepare cool desserts. Ice cream is just the dessert that will be appropriate on a hot day. Mint ice cream with chocolate pieces turns out to be aromatic and beautiful, it has a delicate texture and an attractive green color.
It is necessary
- - 500 ml of milk;
- - 250 ml heavy cream;
- - 125 g sugar;
- - 70 g of chocolate;
- - 50 g spinach;
- - 1 bunch of mint;
- - 3 egg yolks.
Instructions
Step 1
Mix one glass of milk with sugar and washed spinach (you can take frozen), bring to a boil, cook for 5 minutes. Grind this mixture with a blender. Strain through a sieve, squeezing the spinach lightly.
Step 2
Mix the second glass of milk with washed fresh mint, bring to a boil, insist the mint leaves in the milk for half an hour. Then strain the mass through a sieve.
Step 3
Whisk the egg yolks until they increase in volume, add the spinach mass and mint milk, and stir. Heat this mixture in a ladle over low heat until thickened, stirring occasionally. Do not bring it to a boil! Add heavy cream, cool the mass.
Step 4
Pour this mixture into a container in which you will make ice cream. Close it and put it in the freezer for 1 hour. Meanwhile, grate the chocolate.
Step 5
After an hour, remove the container from the refrigerator, punch the mass with an immersion blender, put it back in the freezer for an hour, so repeat the procedure three times.
Step 6
After the last whipping, add the grated chocolate to the mint creamy mass, mix thoroughly, put it in the freezer until it hardens completely. You can serve ice cream on the table garnished with whole mint leaves.
