Instructions
Step 1
Try yeast dough pie. Heat the milk, dissolve a bag of dry yeast in it, add salt and sugar. Wait 10-15 minutes, add vegetable oil and, in small portions, add sifted flour to the milk mixture. Knead the dough with your hands, collect it in a lump, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 2 hours.
Step 2
Remove the meat from the chicken legs and cut into cubes or strips. Chop the onion and garlic finely, wash the potatoes, peel and cut in the same way as the chicken. Fry the meat and onions in hot vegetable oil, brown the potatoes in a separate frying pan. Put it on the chicken, stir, add salt and ground black pepper.
Step 3
Divide the dough into two halves, roll each into a layer. Place one on a greased baking sheet. Spread the filling on top, slightly receding from the edges. Cover the cake with a smaller layer, lift the edges and pinch them well. Punch a small hole in the middle of the cake and brush the surface with an egg to create a golden brown crust. Let the cake stand for 20-30 minutes and put it in the preheated oven for half an hour. Remove the finished baked goods from the baking sheet and let them rest under a towel, then cut into pieces and serve.
Step 4
Puff pastry pie Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the onion in it until transparent. Add chicken, chopped potatoes, salt, ground black pepper and dry Provencal herb mixture. While stirring, cook everything together until golden brown.
Step 5
Roll out a slab of puff pastry and place in a greased fireproof pan. Use your fingers to smooth out the dough and make bumpers around the edges. Arrange the filling and cover with a second layer of dough. Pinch the edges, make a hole in the middle of the cake. Shake the egg yolk and use a flat silicone brush to brush it over the cake. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake for 20 minutes. The finished cake can be served directly in the pan with a bowl of fresh sour cream.
