Step 1

Prepare the dishes in which you will cook the peaches. Pour water into it and put on fire. Dissolve sugar in water. Make the syrup at the rate - for 1 kg of peaches, 2 glasses of water and 1-1, 2 kg of sugar. The mixture must be brought to a boil, then boiled until the sugar is completely dissolved. Stir more often to help dissolve the sugar.
Step 3
Squeeze the lemon to make the juice. Add lemon juice to jam, bring everything to a boil, boil for half an hour. In the finished peach jam, the fruits should be transparent. At the end of cooking, reduce the heat to minimum, remove the cinnamon stick.
Step 4
Sterilize jars and lids. To do this, fill a small saucepan with water approximately halfway, lower the lids into boiling water. Hold the jars over the steam for about a minute, then fill them with jam and tighten the lids tightly.
Step 5
Turn the jars filled with jam upside down, place on a hard surface. So keep them until they cool completely. Place the jam in a cool place to store it until winter.
