Step 1

The first step is to knead the dough. Prepare 0.5 cups of warm milk or kefir, half diluted with water. Add 25 grams of yeast and dissolve, then pour the contents into a large container. Add an egg if desired. Next, add the rest of the ingredients: sugar (2 tablespoons), salt (1 teaspoon), vegetable oil (3 tablespoons), mayonnaise (1 tablespoon), flour (2 cups), then mix everything thoroughly. The dough is ready.

Take a plastic bag, grease it from the inside with vegetable oil, put the dough there, leave a place to rise, tie it in a knot at the top and put it in a bowl. Put the dough in a warm place for 1 hour.

While the dough is coming up, let's start filling. There are a lot of cooking options. For example, you can use cabbage (finely chop and cook in a saucepan with water, boil for 5-10 minutes, until soft, then drain the water, add vegetable oil and salt to taste). Cabbage goes well with an egg. Another of the most popular fillings is finely chopped egg and green onions. You can also make pies with fruits, berries (sugar - to taste), etc. According to this recipe, you can also make cinnamon rolls with sugar - it turns out very tasty too.

When the dough has come, roll it out (using flour). It must be elastic. Next, we make pies, put on a baking sheet, oiled or covered with baking paper. We bake in a well-preheated oven (200-220 degrees) until tender. The approximate baking time is 20-30 minutes. As soon as the top is browned, it means they are ready.
