The Fire Dragon sauce has a rich, spicy taste. It can be paired with any meat dish or used as an addition to stews, side dishes, and even soups.
It is necessary
- - 6 tomatoes
- - 300 g onions
- - 100 g butter
- - 500 g walnuts
- - tomato paste
- - 1 tbsp. l. flour
- - 1 yolk
- - 5 cloves of garlic
- - 100 g of wine vinegar
- - ground cinnamon
- - dried herbs
- - salt
- - fresh herbs
- - ground black pepper
- - saffron
- - 500 ml of any broth
Instructions
Step 1
Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for a few minutes, remove the skin, and mash the pulp. Cut the onion into small pieces and fry in butter until golden brown. While cooking, add one tablespoon flour to the contents of the pan to thicken the onion mixture.
Step 2
Combine tomato pulp, onion mixture and broth in a skillet. The mass must be cooked over low heat until a homogeneous thick consistency is obtained.
Step 3
Use a blender to chop the garlic, walnuts, fresh and dried herbs. Add saffron, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, some wine vinegar and egg yolk to the resulting mixture. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Pour the prepared mass into the contents of the pan and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Step 4
You can serve hot sauce hot or cold. It can be used as a dressing for meat or vegetable dishes.
