Koreans are very fond of a variety of soups, almost no feast is complete without them. These are not always soups in the traditional sense of the word. They are often quite thick, a mixture of meat, noodles, vegetables and, of course, hot spices. But there are also options that are more familiar to a Russian resident. For example, Zuo Koggi Bokum is a delicious nutritious soup made from beef and mushrooms.
Ingredients:
- Beef - 0.5 kg
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Chopped greens - 2-3 tablespoons
- Mushrooms (champignons, porcini) - 400 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Butter
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Ground red pepper
- Salt
- Rice
- Sesame seed
Preparation:
1. Cut the beef into small pieces. Stir the garlic (finely chopped or crushed) with herbs, sugar. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, mix again. Coat the meat with the resulting mass and leave it to marinate for 1, 5-2 hours.
2. While the meat is marinating, you need to wash the mushrooms, cut them into medium-sized pieces. Fry in a pan in butter until golden brown. Then add a little water and simmer under a closed lid until tender. Sharper lovers can sprinkle the mushrooms with red pepper.
3. Put meat in a deep saucepan, pour 1.5 liters of water over it, add a little butter, chopped onion. Close the saucepan with a lid, cook the meat over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.
4. Simultaneously boil rice. Put mushrooms in a saucepan 10 minutes before the meat is ready.
6. Place a few spoons of rice on the side of the bowl before serving. Sprinkle with sesame seeds on top.
If you reduce the amount of water when boiling meat (that is, not boil it, but stew it), then an excellent second dish will come out, also ideally combined with rice.
