Herring appetizer is popular all over the world. Lightly salted herring seasoned with spices, poured with sauce will suit as an appetizer not only to traditional boiled potatoes, but also to any other festive dish. In addition, herring is a very inexpensive and affordable product, useful in its properties and composition.
It is necessary
- Option one:
- - 200 g fillet of slightly salted herring,
- - 50 ml of a weak vinegar solution,
- - 200 ml of milk,
- - 1 tbsp. Sahara,
- - 2 tbsp. l. sour cream,
- - 1 PC. onions
- - 2 tbsp. olive oil,
- - dill.
- Option two:
- - 300 g of herring,
- - 50-80 g of vegetable oil,
- - 1 PC. onions
- - 20 g of ready-made mustard.
Instructions
Step 1
Option one
To prepare a herring snack, pre-soak the fish in milk for at least 10 hours, refrigerate. Then cut the herring into fillets.
Step 2
Mix the milk remaining from the soaked fish with a vinegar solution, add sugar and olive oil. This will be the herring appetizer sauce. Chop the onion here and add sour cream. Stir the sauce well.
Step 3
Place the fillet slices beautifully in the herring pot, pour the cooked sauce over the herring appetizer. Sprinkle finely chopped dill on the herring appetizer for a colorful look.
Step 4
Option two
Grease the herring fillet in a whole piece with mustard on all sides, roll it up and put it tightly in a jar. Top the herring appetizer with olive oil to cover the fish and refrigerate the jar overnight.
Step 5
Remove the herring from the jar and cut into pieces, place it beautifully in the herring pot and garnish with onion rings. Top with a spoonful of oil in which the herring appetizer has matured.
