It is necessary

  • - homemade minced meat (beef + pork) - 0.5 kg;
  • - tomatoes - 1 kg;
  • - tomato juice - 1 glass;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - garlic - 3 cloves;
  • - dried Italian herbs - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - vegetable oil (ideally olive) - 5 tbsp. l.;
  • - butter - 50 g;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel onions, carrots and garlic. Chop the onion and carrots into small cubes, crush the garlic through a press.

Step 2

Heat the pan well together with vegetable and butter. Put onion and garlic in it, sauté until the onion becomes transparent. Butter will add more tenderness to the dish.

Step 3

Add carrots and simmer over moderate heat for another 5 minutes.

Step 4

Place the minced meat in the pan and stir well. You do not need to fry it for a long time. Fry literally until the minced meat brightens.

Step 5

Pour the tomato juice into the pan and add the tomatoes. Add Italian herbs, black pepper and a few pinches of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce the temperature to low and cover. Simmer the sauce for an hour, stirring occasionally.

Step 6

While the sauce is cooking, boil the spaghetti. It can be any kind of pasta you like best. But the bottom line is that long products such as spaghetti, fettuccine, teliatelle, linguine absorb thick sauce better, and the taste is richer.

Step 7

Divide the finished spaghetti into portions. Top with generous bolognese sauce, garnished with a mint leaf.
