There are many recipes for dishes with sausages. But there are those who prepare very quickly and easily. They can always help out any hostess at the moment when it is necessary to feed the family with lunch or dinner.
Sausages with stewed cabbage and potatoes
Stewed cabbage is one of the simplest and most favorite dishes. And if you add sausages there, then this will make it even tastier and more appetizing.
The dish requires ingredients:
- 400 g white cabbage
- 1 head of onion
- 4-5 pcs. sausages
- 1 carrot
- 3 pcs. potatoes
- 100 g sunflower oil
- fresh herbs to taste
- salt to taste
- Wash the vegetables indicated in the ingredients. If they require it, clean it up. Cut the potatoes into medium pieces. Cut the onion into rings or half rings. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Chop the cabbage as thin as possible and gently mash it with your hands.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry potatoes on it until golden brown. Send onions to it and fry together until the latter softens. Pour carrots into the "duet" and fry again for 5-7 minutes. Put cabbage in a pan with vegetables, add a little boiled water and simmer everything together for another 8-10 minutes.
- Cut the sausages into pieces. Stew vegetables until almost cooked. Add sausages to them. At this stage of cooking, add salt to it. Cook for another 5 minutes. Switch off.
- Finely chop the herbs selected for the dish. Mix it with the rest of the ingredients. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. Serve warm for lunch or dinner.
Potato casserole with sausages
Housewives often prepare various casseroles, as they are easy to prepare, tasty and satisfying. Sausage casserole is no exception.
- 400 g sausages
- 700 g potatoes
- 100 g butter
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 chicken eggs
- 100 ml milk
- ground allspice to taste
- salt to taste
- Wash potato tubers well. Clear. Pour cold water over it. Salt immediately and cook over the fire. Cook until soft. Drain the water in which the potatoes were boiled. Add milk to it (it should be warmed up), butter (soften). Mash the potatoes into mashed potatoes. Crumple as thoroughly as possible so that there are no lumps.
- Take a baking dish and grease it (take the fat at your discretion). Cut the sausages into pieces. The size of the pieces should be approximately equal to the height of the mold. Place the bottom of the mold with a portion of the mashed potatoes. Flatten the potatoes. Insert the sausages into the puree by pressing them into it. Put the rest of the potatoes on top.
- Drive eggs into a bowl. Mix them with pepper and salt. Beat well until foamy. Add grated cheese to the egg mass. Mix. Pour the cheese mass over the potatoes.
- Heat the oven to a temperature of 180C. Bake the casserole for 20-30 minutes.
- Cut the finished dish into pieces. You can sprinkle (optional) with pepper and serve.
