Pork roll is an opportunity to cook something new from pork every time, changing ingredients and fillings. The meat turns out to be tender and juicy inside, and the appearance allows you to prepare dishes not only for everyday meals, but also for a festive table.
Pork roll - ingredients for 2 persons:
- pork tenderloin - 400 g;
- onion;
- 4 stalks of young garlic (can be replaced with arrows of green onions);
- spices to taste (for example, ready-made meat mixes);
- olive oil;
- 3 medium sized potatoes;
- 6 slices of bacon;
- half a glass of water;
- salt to taste.

First you need to prepare the meat and the filling for it. The pork tenderloin needs to be cut and gradually opened to form a long layer, which is about 1 centimeter thick.
Cut a quarter of the onion into cubes, the rest into rings and half rings. Chop the young garlic (or green onion). Peel the potatoes, cut into not very thick plastics.

Pork roll baked in the oven is very easy to prepare. Sprinkle the meat with the spices that you like the most, salt to taste.
Spread the diced onion on top. Then roll the roll tightly.
To make the meat juicy, wrap the roll in bacon, and fix the bacon with toothpicks so that it does not open during the preparation of the pork belly roll.
Put potatoes, onions and garlic (green onions) in a baking sheet or glass dish. Put the pork roll on top, pour it generously with olive oil.
Also, pour half a glass of water into the baking sheet so that the vegetables do not burn.
Next, the form must be placed in an oven preheated to 180 ° C. It is better to bake the roll for 25 minutes under foil, and then another 10-15 minutes without it, so that a golden and crispy crust appears.
After 35-40 minutes, the roll is ready, you can immediately cut it and serve.
